Semrush recently video interviewed more than 20 reputable marketers to analyse how businesses of all sizes and industries manage their content requirements.
According to the findings, 12% of marketers use AI writing technology to generate content, while 44% outsource their content needs to preferred content writers. The content writers are selected depending on the quality of service they provide.
Quality is defined by 61% of marketers as writers who explore a topic in-depth and in the most comprehensive way possible. When it came to outsourcing problems, 49% of respondents indicated they were having trouble getting writers with relevant experience and knowledge.
The biggest challenge for the 41% was that the content quality was insufficient. Most businesses spend less than $1,000 a month on content writing.
