The feature is currently only available to US users.

Users on Instagram can now embed a version of their profile on third-party sites, as the app now allows users to link their Instagram accounts directly within a website. Instead of connecting to users via specialised content from the app, businesses can reach users through their Instagram profiles on their websites.

This feature will be useful for brands who want users to stay on their website rather than being redirected to Instagram. Likewise, marketers can use the feature to promote their brand’s Instagram profile through their websites.

For example, influencers who promote a brand's product on Instagram can be used as a visual demonstration beside the brand's website images. Instagram chief Adam Mosseri, states this will “allow you to embed a miniature version of your Instagram profile on a website.”
