This article shares how brands could optimally leverage Instagram Bio links.
Since April 2023, Instagram allows adding multiple links to an Instagram Bio. For creator and business accounts, the limit is now upto five links. Businesses can use these links to direct users to a website, a marketplace, a guest post and more. Alternatively, the links can also be used to direct people to different parts of a single website.
With a five link limit, marketers can reduce their reliance on third-party link in bio apps, making it budget-friendly. However, there are some downsides.
The bio link features don't support visuals, so incorporating thumbnails, background colors, images is not an option. Further, there is no way to see how many people opened the link list in Bio, or check the navigation path that got them there.
