The President’s biggest worry when it comes to his re-election campaign must be the state of the economy. It is certainly the public’s most important issue. Just 33% in this week’s Economist/YouGov Poll approve of how Barack Obama is handling the economy.

Even the drop in the unemployment rate has had little impact on President Obama’s overall approval, which remains near 40%. This week, 41% approve of how he is handling his job overall, while 50% do not.
