(Week of 9/22/2012) In a special Economist/YouGov Poll, Americans were asked which candidate would be more likely to get Democrats and Republicans to work together in Congress. The answer? More than a third aren’t sure, or says that there is likely to be no difference between the candidates on this matter.

32% say Romney would do a better job; 31% say the President would.

Congress gets abysmally low approval ratings, nearly always in single digits. This week, 8% approve of the way Congress is handling its job; 73% disapprove.
