Post-Election Improvement In Obama Approval Rating

(Week of 12/1/2012) President Obama has seen an increase in his overall approval ratings since the election — in this week’s Economist/YouGov Poll, 49% approve of the way he is handling his job.

The positive assessments of the President extend to his likeability, something on which he outpaced his Republican challenger Mitt Romney throughout the campaign.
Over 60% in this week’s poll like the President as a person, and 37% say they like him "a lot."
