A Research Director at YouGov oversees the set up and management of research projects to ensure successful completion of research projects. Integral to this role is managing and interacting directly with clients – designing, driving and implementing market research projects. You will need to plan, and manage research projects and ensure successful client delivery. Additionally, you will be involved with methodological and sampling recommendations and when required, develop and share new market knowledge. Within the team, you will work with junior staff and provide guidance on research deliverables.
The Research Director Applicant must have the following qualities:
- 5+ years of project management experience in market research
- Excellent client management sills with the ability to communicate in a professional manner, which includes designing, setting up, reviewing research projects.
- Be able to work in a fast paced environment; meeting project deadlines
- Ability to multi-task with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Applicant must have excellent attention to detail
- Experience doing both quantitative and qualitative research
- Ability to mentor, support and manage research analysts.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
- Experience using SPSS, or R is a plus.
YouGov is seeking an energetic person with strong organizational and analytic skills for the position of Research Analyst. At YouGov, a Research Analyst is principally responsible for interpreting data, creating reports, and making recommendations based upon research findings. The Research Analyst applies qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret data and produce substantiated recommendations. Research Analysts will occasionally conduct qualitative interviews to collect additional insight.
-Communicating with project managers and clients to understand and document the business objectives
