We are searching for a Senior Sales Manager to work in Washington. You'll lead the business development of both our US and MENA Data Services Business.

What will I be doing day to day?

  • Develop a portfolio of new business for YouGov Data Services for both territories
  • Manage existing client base and key client relationships
  • Support heads of departments across two teams in all new business and marketing initiatives
  • Research on industry news to stay current on prospective/current clients

CLIENT SERVICE ANALYST

What will I be doing day to day?

Our Data Products team is searching for an energetic and analytical person to join the team as a client facing analyst.   The primary responsibilities include training our new clients on our reporting interfaces, producing PowerPoint analysis of recent brand activities and working collaboratively with YouGov colleagues to manage our current client roster. This position includes a variety of client facing opportunities as well as work with our sales, PR and YouGov management team.

Aside from these responsibilities, you will maintain records of processes, procedures, and findings from client projects. After a comprehensive training period, you will begin to help lead the day to day relationship of key accounts.

CLIENT SERVICE ANALYST, YOUGOV SPORTS

YouGov Sports Team is the sports and sponsorship specialist arm of YouGov. As a Client Service Analyst, you’ll love telling stories with data and will become an expert in YouGov’s tracking and profiling databases. The Analyst will grow into a role that will lead key client presentations and manage multiple client relationships after a training and support period.

What will I be doing day to day?

  • Translate data to insights for clients and become an expert in YouGov syndicated tools
  • Produce monthly, quarterly and annual reports, providing valuable insights and key finding to existing clients and global sales opportunities

What will I be doing day to day?

You will have the chance to own a designated territory; discovering, developing and managing accounts and handling complex negotiations and contracts, ideally from selling to consumer brands or media agencies. Your commercial awareness of subscription products and excellent communication skills will allow you to really promote YouGov’s data offerings, and your relentless energy, positive attitude and never-give-up approach will give you the platform to succeed.

DATA JOURNALIST

We are searching for a Data Journalist to use our proprietary data to shed light on topical, political, and lifestyle issues. The data journalist will develop stories to react to news and pop culture events, as well as explore lifestyle and general interest trends. They will then report the findings in an accessible but authoritative way, balancing compelling copy with clear visuals. They will also generate original stories using long-term YouGov data to tap into the underlying public mood that goes beyond the news cycle.

What will I be doing day to day?

  • Brainstorm, research, and write stories for public consumption based on YouGov data
  • Come up with ideas for stimulating survey questions
  • Use data from the surveys to create at least one story per day
  • Demonstrate a strategic understanding of YouGov data and its sources, relevance, potential, and value
  • Visualize data with charts and graphs that explain the story at a glance
  • Support the development of daily stories as well as longer-term projects
  • Work collaboratively with Researchers, Editors, PR, and Marketing staff

DESKTOP SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT support technician to join our IT Team to help manage IT support in the US. The primary purpose of this role will be providing first, second and some third tier support for our YouGov employees based on the East Coast. In this role, you will provide maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting the internal IT Service Desk. You will be responsible for administration and internal support of the company’s PCs, printers, servers, and related equipment. You will be involved in global IT projects with the larger IT team and be expected to help contribute in these projects, along with learning new skills and technologies as you go along.

What will I be doing day to day?

  • Providing employee assistance to diagnose and resolve any technical problems
  • Monitoring and responding quickly and effectively to IT service desk requests, prioritising these requests as needed
  • Assisting with the onboarding process of new users and the offboarding process of users leaving YouGov
  • Helping to administer patch management and security protection to end user computers
  • Recommending, and where necessary, scheduling and performing improvements, upgrades, and/or purchases to end user machines
  • Installing, maintaining and troubleshooting smart phones, tablets and other mobile devices
  • Installing, testing and configuring new workstations, peripheral equipment and software
  • Maintaining inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses

What do I need to bring with me?

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft Exchange and Skype for Business
  • Experience in managing a VDI environment would be a real benefit.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server 2012 R2 and above operating systems

  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, Wi-Fi and LAN concepts
