Position Summary YouGov is seeking a technically sophisticated person for its academic and public affairs group, based in Redwood City. We are looking for someone who combines knowledge of applied statistics with experience in social research. Work in a fast-paced and intellectually stimulating environment where technically sophisticated solutions to political, marketing, and financial problems are developed.

Responsibilities include management of internal and external research projects, as well as primary responsibility (from design to analysis to report writing) for execution of specific projects. Successful directors will provide a single point of accountability to deliver the project in accordance with the project commitments, manage and direct assigned project resources and make decisions regarding the project direction.


  • Ability to drive analytics projects from hypothesis generation through data-gathering to completion 
  • Proven project management experience (in either an academic or commercial setting)
