Ford is top of the Auto Buzz rankings – a consistent feature in number one slot. Ford’s C-MAX hybrid ad poked a little fun at Cadillac’s “Poolside” creation.
Cadillac’s ad had stirred up its own media storm after condemning other countries for their long vacations and by championing severe work regimes “for stuff”. The Ford ad used similar camera shots but the message was rather different: “It’s pretty simple. You work hard. You believe that anything is possible, and you try to make the world better.
A brutal year for GM, which recalled a record number of vehicles with ignition switch defects, saw Chevrolet drop out of the top five from last year’s number four position.
