Retail: Clothing

Victoria’s Secret has taken a strong lead at the top of the retail-clothing rankings. 2014’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show featured Taylor Swift and was the events London debut. The brand has continued its pursuit of the teen and college market with Pink Nation, a brand extension of teen, sports and college apparel aimed at steering young consumers through their doors.

Abercrombie and Fitch is top of this year’s Improvers list. The brand is bouncing back after 2013’s negative coverage over the lack of larger women’s sizing and exclusionary attitudes. The company and its long term CEO and Chairman Mike Jeffries finally parted company last year.
