The latest Yahoo / YouGov poll reveals the biggest concerns voters have going into this year’s presidential election.
Ballots going uncounted remains the top concern among the voters in general – 66% are somewhat or very worried about it, ahead of the following potential issues: the election result not being accepted by one of the candidates (60%), people being prevented from voting (53%), foreign interference (51%), and fraudulent postal voting (48%).
Three in ten (30%) voters think this year’s election will be rigged in favor of one candidate or another, with Trump supporters (41%) nearly twice as likely as Biden supporters (22%) to share this concern.
Only about three in five voters (57%) trust their state to accurately count all the votes in this year’s election; about one in five (22%) do not, and roughly the same number (21%) are not sure.
