Attracting quality talent is another challenge for brands.
An Association of National Advertisers (ANA) report highlights the challenges that come with in-housing. The report found that 63% of marketers are facing challenges keeping in-house agency talent energised. ANA surveyed 111 ANA members in March and interviewed members and industry professionals during Q1 2019.
Around 19% of respondents shared that they’re facing issues of creative tension. Another 37% of participants are finding applying key marketing processes a challenge. The study also stated that attracting top-tier talent is a challenge for 44% of in-house agencies.
The 2018 ANA report had provided that 78% of marketers had some form of an in-house agency. About, 90% of marketers with in-house agencies had increased their shop’s workload in the year before.
