Users can now share feedback on pins they don’t want to see in their feed.

Pinterest has launched a new “Home Feed Tuner” tool and for brands, this could mean higher engagement with consumers on the platform. Through the tool, users will receive more insight into the factors involved in the content that surfaces for them.

They will ultimately have greater control over what they see on Pinterest. The tool can be found via the user’s settings or at pinterest.com/edit. It displays elements such as the boards, followed accounts, topics and recent history activity that inform content recommendations for users.

An on/off toggle switch allows users to switch off these signals, if needed. The tool also lets users receive recommendations for their “secret boards” which were not a part of the recommendations.
