Discounts will play an important role this holiday season.

A study conducted by YouGov revealed that 89% of consumers in the UK would shop online on Black Friday. The research found that four in 10 of those surveyed are looking to shop on sale days such as Black Friday.

Additionally, 85% of the respondents would be visiting websites of different retailers to compare prices before buying. The “uncertainty surrounding Britain’s departure from the EU” could provide a boost to sale days like Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

The study found that 33% women and 19% men believe discounts will play an important role. Further, 43% of UK shoppers report knowing the brands they will shop from ahead of the sale days. 66% of the shoppers planning to buy in-store would search for products online at the same time.
