A Tapjoy study has found that subscription services are still in demand and mobile gamers are a high-return growth opportunity for DTC brands. 70% of respondents (Gen Z, millennials, parents and high-income consumers) expressed keenness in trying a new subscription product/service.
The report added that Gen Z are more likely to engage with ads promoting trials or a new release, have image or videos of products and personalised quizzes and additional customisation. They (and 88% of millennials) regularly shop for apparel and lifestyle products on mobile.
Gen Z prefer subscription delivery services because of personalised selections. 79% of parents prefer shopping through a digital device for buying ease. High-income consumers like shopping digitally because they have control over picking colour and design.
