Qtrip surveyed 4,755 people in the US to measure their comfort levels for traveling midst the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the report, 34% of people said they have travel plans starting this summer and 21% are planning to travel by fall. People with travel plans for the upcoming winter or spring are also 21%. 24% are unsure of when they’ll resume travel.
However, 69% of the survey participants are concerned about their health while travelling during the pandemic. Of those polled, 53% say they are “extremely likely” or “very likely” to go on a domestic vacation. Only 36% say they’ll go on an international vacation.
Also, 60% of the respondents say they are on a tighter budget, owing to the pandemic. 58% of the people are looking forward to reuniting with family and 15% are excited to see friends.
