The report adds that brands are finding new ways of presenting themselves and adding value to consumers’ lives. MediaMonks’ Heather Hosey states, “A storytelling approach has shifted to creating content that is useful to audiences in this new reality.”
Some examples of the content relevant to changed consumer behaviour are content around child-friendly meals, a how-to on cutting partner’s hair, eyeshadow techniques to use if wearing a mask and more. Assistive content can be delivered to consumers through livestream commerce that’s not too “salesy.”
