An Optinmonster study found the conversion rate on email marketing is triple that of social media advertising.
Even in the age of social media, email marketing can help companies improve ROI, boost sales and foster customer relationships. According to the Direct Marketing Association, email marketing generates around $40 in sales or other ROI per dollar spent. Other studies suggest that an overwhelming number of Gen Z's (85%) prefer emails as a communication method.
Email is not only one of the cheapest communication channels but also one of the most used communication methods. Around 92% of American adults have email, with 61% of them using it daily. It can help marketers reach their potential buyers, wherever they are, in almost real-time.
Studies also show segmenting campaigns, and personalising emails can significantly influence the company revenue. Companies can also measure their email campaign's success by monitoring conversion rates, CTRs, response rate and other metrics.
