The feature- announced earlier this year - will allow users with at least 10,000 followers to charge followers for additional content.
To be eligible for Super Follows, users must be 18 or older and have at least 25 tweets within the last 30 days. A recent article by Jane Manchun Wong's on Twitter's Super Follows said that feature would include bonus content like exclusive tweets.
The tool includes a list of content categories users could select from to describe their content. However, adult content oriented sites like "OnlyFans" will be listed as "content platforms" with Facebook, Substack, Patreon and more.
Though Twitter has not confirmed or refuted Wong's findings, it had previously labelled its Patreon-like Super Follows feature as a subscription. Twitter will likely take a percentage cut from Super Follows payments, similar to Tip Jar, its recent direct payment service.
