The company is working with brands like Whisk, Wikipedia, and Tabelog in the development and beta stage of Jumps.

TikTok has unveiled a new feature that allows users to attach mini apps known as Jumps to their videos, allowing them to link videos to these apps. The feature is currently being tested with a select group of creators and will be rolled out to a wider group of people post-testing.

Viewers watching a video with a Jump will notice a button near the bottom of their screen that will launch new content on a new TikTok screen. Creators can use the feature to add Jumps and then customise the content that viewers see when they press the Jump button.

Also, companies like BuzzFeed and IRL will soon have Jumps and all members of TikTok’s Creator Fund can access Jumps. Snapchat has a similar feature called Minis.
