Microsoft Advertising’s latest beta program is rolling out globally starting today.
In general, multimedia ads allow search marketers to present their ad copy in an exclusive ad type in a SERP. Microsoft Advertising claims its new offering would enable marketers to combine their images, headlines and ad copy along with machine learning to display the best-fit ad for the searcher and query.
The beta program also comes with an auto-recommendation feature that would give marketers the ability to auto-create ads with their existing images and text assets. However, the tech giant also said search marketers could opt out of the auto-apply functionality at the account level.
The setup process of Multimedia Ads beta is similar to that of RSAs in Microsoft Advertising. The company further recommends marketers should upload multiple ad variations of high-quality images in all four aspect ratios: “1.91:1, 1:1, 1:2 and 4:1”.
