A Savanta study found though Netflix is the UK's most loved brand, it did not make it the top 10 among 16-24s.
Savanta's BrandVue Most Loved Brands 2021 report found that Netflix topped the list of the top five most popular brands across all age groups. The video streaming platform was followed by Amazon, Cadbury, Walkers and Coca-Cola.
Among 16 to 24-year-olds, YouTube was the highest-ranked brand, followed by Cadbury, Magnum, Amazon and McDonald's. Only two clothing brands made it to the top 100 brands list while no travel brand made it to the top 100.
Savanta evaluated surveyed 150,000 Britons, where participants ranked brands against 50 criteria, including innovative and trustworthy. Savanta's Chief executive Roger Perowne said, "Everyone else might be bingeing on Netflix, but the younger demographic prefers to get its viewing fix in shorter, sharp bursts."
