Amazon could launch branded TVs, which will include an in-house designed TV, and a TV manufactured by a third-party company like TCL, as per an Insider report. The TCL-manufactured Amazon TV will be integrated with Alexa and with an October release likely.

In the same way that Amazon Basics products are displayed, the Amazon TV could centrally display Prime movies and shows in the TV interface. While Amazon already builds the Fire TV stick, it's unclear whether Amazon TV will have a similar interface.

The company already produces branded TVs for the Indian market, with the first Amazon Basics TV debuting in December 2020. However, because Amazon is known for collecting user data, an Amazon-TV could impact users privacy, notes the article.
