Nearly 50% of consumers plan to shop more through buying options like buy online and pick up in-stores, according to a recent Radial survey.
As brands try to figure consumers' holiday buying plans, 65% of US consumers intend to spend the same amount or more, than they did in 2020. The upcoming holiday season may get busy for retailers, with 45% of shoppers expecting to spend the same amount in physical stores as they did in 2020.
However, 50% will shop online even more due to COVID-19 concerns. 57% shoppers will shop earlier than they did in 2020, with eight in ten saying they would purchase earlier if brands offered deals before Black Friday.
One in five consumers expects to start holiday shopping as early as August. Providing omnichannel ecommerce shopping options can help brands meet consumers demand this holiday season.
