Marketing leaders across the US plan to boost marketing spends

360PR+ and Engine Group’s recent survey of US marketing and communication leaders revealed that 54% of marketing execs plan to host more in-person events in 2022.

Most marketing and communication leaders (76%) across the US, believe COVID-19 has helped them focus on their priorities and objectives better, as per the report. Further, 57% of marketing execs considered new approaches owing to the pandemic, followed by 42% thinking holistically.

88% of marketing execs expect their companies to increase marketing spend in 2022. However, 10% of marketers believe it’s too early to decide on that, while 2% reported having no plans to up spending.

Of those polled, 94% of respondents state that brand and corporate reputation is becoming intertwined. Marketing leaders intend to increase the usage of senior executives in brand communications and recognise their value as effective storytellers.
