To create a more native online shopping experience, TikTok recently announced a range of new and interactive ad formats. The company expects to make its ads more interactive and creative with new ad formats like "Choose Your Own Adventure.”
Additionally, TikTok is enabling brands to offer live shopping on the platform. TikTok also has ad products specifically designed for ecommerce brands, as well as taking on shipping and fulfilment obligations in some markets. “Pop out showcase,” “super like”, “storytime tool” are some of the ad products TikTok is releasing to enhance engagement.
Moreover, TikTok launched new ad buying and brand safety tools called “Reach & Frequency” and “Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM).” By scaling the ad business, TikTok is touting itself as a reliable advertising toolset.
