Yelp has announced new features for Service businesses and users looking for services like movers, plumbers and real estate agents. Users will now be able to use Yelp filters to find services according to different search criteria. These include fast-responding businesses that provide virtual consultations or businesses specialising in a specific type of repair.
Similarly, users can use Yelp’s new Project Cost Guides to access cost estimates for services in the user’s geographical area. Yelp offers cost guides for services from categories automotive, hotels and leisure, financial services, pets and home services, among others.
Businesses will also be able to advertise on the platform using themed ads. These ads help companies highlight certain aspects of their businesses that helps them stand out among the competition.
