The British tabloid witnessed a 24% growth in followers.
Of all European publishers on TikTok, the UK’s Daily Mail tops the list, with 3.1 million followers. Spanish outlet Ac2ality follows Daily Mail, with a 7% growth in followers to 2.9 million. The Spanish outlet has the highest ratio of likes to views among all surveyed outlets.
Northern-Western European publishers dominate the list. Germany has nine accounts in the top 30. At the same time, entries from the UK, France, and The Netherlands add makeup to the top twenty. Eastern European accounts performed relatively poorly owing to hostile environments in their respective states.
Average growth for Europe’s top 30 publishers between July and October was a little more than 21%. Mid-sized accounts accelerated this growth, with account occupying positions between six and 20 growing by nearly 27%. The top five accounts, on the other hand, grew just over 20%.
