According to an Association of National Advertisers (ANA) report, the advertising industry finally seems to have made strides in making the space more diverse and inclusive.

When it comes to senior-level marketing ranks, the report reveals that women hold a majority of positions. The percentage of ethnic diversity among executive positions has risen to 29% from 26% until a few years ago.

However, man minority groups, especially African American and Black populations, are yet to find a spot among senior roles in advertising.

According to Bob Liodice, CEO, ANA, “I urge our membership and the marketing community at large to review the report carefully and to consider taking the recommended steps to reaching representative diversity levels.”
