Named “Qaya”, it allows creators to sell anything like trapeze workout guides, wellness training videos, and more, according to Google.

Google rolls out a new app called Qaya in the US market, to help creators monetise their online presence. Qaya will be available for other markets soon. The app includes direct links to digital storefronts where creators can sell, using various payment options.

Also, creators can collaborate to build appealing, responsive storefronts they can link to from other apps and platforms through Qaya. The app provides custom “yourname.channel or qaya.store/your-name URLs, with payment functionality built in.”

The platform can feature both paid and free products, and creator tipping. Google is also working on subscription and other revenue models. Customer management and analytics tools will be available on Qaya, which will be directly linked to Google-owned properties like YouTube.
