According to Google’s John Mueller, Google supports nofollow, UGC and sponsored link attributes. But, in terms of SEO value, there is no difference between nofollow, UGC and sponsored link attributes.
In a forum discussion at Twitter, Mueller was asked, "is a nofollow backlink better, equal or worse than an ugc and a sponsored backlink?” To which, he responded, “there's no practical difference in terms of ‘SEO-value’ for the site you're linking to."
