The report shows a dramatic increase in the use of AI services for media management, such as visual AI analysis and voice-to-text transcriptions. With the pandemic accelerating the urgent need for remote access and the demand for video content, companies are increasingly relying on remote collaboration and cloud management.

More organisations are now choosing videos to convey their message and maximise engagement, targeting consumers or internal staff. Cloud-native media management solutions are also becoming more popular, with organisations storing 144% more media content in the cloud.

Because of this transition to cloud services, organisations are experiencing instant media availability. This instant availability encourages more internal and external collaboration, as seen in the 77% rise in asset sharing. There has also been a boom in visual AI analysis and voice-to-text transcriptions as companies look to optimise their content's usage and reach.
