Brands and marketers looking to expand their network should use LinkedIn Audio Events.
LinkedIn Audio Events, a recently announced audio-only tool by LinkedIn, is currently in beta testing and is scheduled for a global rollout. The tool will allow users to have live conversations worldwide. While comparable to Clubhouse, LinkedIn Audio Events offers new features like live Q&A events, paid ticketing options, and uses LinkedIn’s internal data to display professional events.
Though not all LinkedIn users can create events yet, they can attend those offered by the few select creators who have access to Events. Users who have been invited to an audio event must click “Join” to accept or get the event link from a connection. All LinkedIn members can invite connections to Events, share Events and, if approved, speak at Events.
Those users who have access can create and post new Events from the “Home” icon on the LinkedIn page. To ensure seamless hosting, create an agenda for the Audio Event. Businesses can promote Audio Events on LinkedIn posts, emails, and websites, as well as repurpose the content across other channels.
