With businesses increasingly opting for modern technology and newer models of customer engagement, their confidence in engagement efforts is going up.

A Wakefield Research survey found 94% of brands reported good or excellent customer engagement even in this changing landscape. Around 88% of businesses rated their practices as excellent last year.

Additionally, 98% of these companies who highly ranked their customer engagement efforts exceeded their revenue goals. About 43% of marketers believe their company does an excellent job of customer engagement, marking an increase of 32% from last year.

Similarly, the positive impact of cross-channel engagement on the likelihood to buy also grew 48% YoY. Cross channel engagement strategies that combine both, in-product and out-of-product messages increased a user’s likelihood to make a purchase by 3.1 times, in comparison to single-channel approaches.
