Starting April, the update will become default, stripping advertisers of their control over their DSA campaigns.

According to Microsoft’s announcement, Dynamic Search Ads (DSA) campaigns can now dynamically generate both headlines and descriptions. Starting April, advertisers will also lose control over their DSA descriptions.

Advertisers using static headlines in their DSAs would no longer be able to run their ads with dynamic descriptions. But, advertisers belonging to sensitive verticals, like pharmaceuticals, would remain opted out of this change for existing campaigns.

Advertisers can now head to their DSA campaign settings to enable dynamic search ad text. By doing so, the platform would generate dynamic descriptions based on the site content designated by the advertiser.
