Because of poor communication, US businesses lose up to $1.2 trillion annually, according to the report. 72% of the business leaders said their teams found it difficult to communicate effectively in 2021.
Moreover, 82% of leaders and 59% of employees are worried about effective communication through remote or hybrid working models in the future. Poor communication reportedly costs businesses $12,506 per employee per year.
Effective communication is critical for delivering business results, according to 96% of business leaders. In addition, 93% believe effective communication is the "backbone" of business. Employee satisfaction and retention are the top priorities for businesses. Leaders also need tools to enhance communication.
