Veritonic’s survey highlights how American brands ranked in terms of consumer perception and brand recall of sonic logos.
In this regard, according to the report, quick-service restaurants (QSRs) are among the top 10 brands in the US. Folgers coffee with its “The best part of waking up is Folgers in your cup” came out on top cutting across industries.
KFC and its audio logo “It’s finger lickin' good” is ranked 5th among the top US brands. Other QSR brands ranked by US consumers include Little Caesar’s (#6), Red Robin (#9), and Arby's (#10).
The other top-ranked brands are State Farm (#2), Liberty Mutual (#3), Farmers Insurance (#4), Ace Hardware (#7), and Safelite (#8). Veritonic’s CEO and co-founder, Scott Simonelli, notes, “What a brand sounds like is becoming as important as what it looks like.”
