Unsupervised’s poll of over 800 marketers highlights marketers' perspectives on the metaverse, cryptocurrency and more.
41% of marketers understand the metaverse "extremely to very" well, while 49% understand the concept "moderately to slightly." 11% of marketers do not understand the metaverse at all.
In addition, 58% of marketers plan to integrate the metaverse "extremely to very" well into their 2022 marketing strategies. 55% of marketers believe the metaverse will positively impact marketing, while 34% are neutral.
Marketers want to use new technology in 2022 by connecting like-minded virtual worlds in the metaverse, hosting or attending events via VR, and creating PR content using AR, all at 27% each. 63% of marketers, each, believe both cryptocurrency and AR are the most important technologies for future marketing campaigns. Further, 35% of marketers recommend that clients create branded NFTs.
