TikTok says an internal survey has registered considerable interest from its subscribers.
Short-video sharing platform, TikTok has announced three it will test new shopping ad features as it ramps its commercialisation efforts. The new ad formats will be Video Shopping Ads, Catalog Listing Ads, and LIVE Shopping Ads.
Video Shopping Ads will allow brands to highlight products in the TikTok video feed. While Catalog Listing Ads will allow brands to feature their product catalogues across the app, the LIVE Shopping Ads will direct users from the For You page to a live brand event.
For their ads & campaign partner, the social media platform has partnered with Smartly.io and Productsup for their catalogue feed. Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, and Ecwid already work with TikTok for the company’s commerce endeavours.
