For 77% of event leaders, virtual events are now a permanent part of their event mix

As per an Airmeet study, differentiating one virtual event from another and bringing more uniqueness to it is a challenge.   

The study revealed that, over the next 12 months, while 50% of respondents will conduct the same number of virtual events they did in the last 12 months, another 32% is looking to host more virtual events. Comparatively, 1% of respondents are looking to conduct only in-person events.   

Uniqueness of a virtual event is the most effective differentiator at 48%, followed by great content at 45%. Immersive virtual environment comes in at 38%  

Additionally, not only are virtual events now a part of event mixes, for 72% of respondents these events have become more important than ever to the company's marketing strategy. While this may be so, 22% of participants list demonstrating ROI as the biggest post-event challenge.
