Black Friday shoppers will be mindful of price, quality and durability: Study

A recent Shopify Black Friday Cyber Monday global research survey suggests that 78% of Black Friday shoppers are looking for long-lasting products.  

The Shopify study revealed that while long-lasting products are in demand this year, people are also looking for their shopping habits to be more climate conscious. For example, 40% of those surveyed wouldn't mind paying more for climate conscious products.   

However, 84% of respondents would still do a price comparison before purchasing. Further, for a more economical shopping experience, 68% of participants are more likely to shop during sales.    

The study also found that for higher quality, 46% of respondents would change brands. Price is also an important factor as 26% of shoppers would switch to a new brand to receive future discounts.
