Instagram Notes brings textual content to the app and is like the ‘Status’ feature on WhatsApp.
One among Instagram’s various new updates – the Notes feature – will allow users to send up to 60 characters of text content to their followers. It’s designed to be a more convenient way to disseminate messages to people.
Another one of the updates is the ‘Add Yours’ nominations, which allows others to participate in Reels and Add Yours stories. Additionally, Instagram is also rolling out ‘Group Profiles’ which is like a group chat, but for posts rather than text messages.
Collaborative Collections is another group-themed feature which lets users save posts into shared collections that only other members can view. Further, there is a ‘Candid Stories’ feature which encourages users to share unfiltered snapshots, like the BeReal app.
