To allow people to view content on US destinations and to book hotels and flights, Expedia Group Media Solutions has launched a new media platform called "GoUSA." The inspirational travel content that will feature on this platform will be provided by Brand USA.
Brand USA will be able to measure the impact of its content. It will be able to identify which content is generating the most engagement and influencing bookings.
As per Expedia's Travel Trends report 2023 "39% of global travelers booked a vacation to a destination they saw in a movie or TV show they streamed." With GoUSA, Expedia is looking to "bridge the gap in travel marketing between the growing influence of streamed movies and TV on tourism and travel bookings."
