iPad 2 perceptions seem to depend on how much money you make.

Lighter, thinner, faster, the svelte new version of Apple’s iPad includes front and back cameras and FaceTime video. The iPad 2 came out with lots of improvements but with the same price as the original tablet, and when it launched on March 11th, nobody gave the brand better Buzz than Americans making over $100k.

Buzz scores for consumers making less than $50k took a week-long hit when the product came out - presumably on finding the price still out of their range - then eventually rebounded.

Mid-income consumers making between $50k and $100k saw Buzz scores tumbling hard just a few days after the iPad 2 came out and are still a long way below where they were before the product debuted.
