Government Seen As More Successful At Security In Airports Than At Public Events

(Week of 4/20/2013) The Boston Marathon bombings may have underscored one weakness in American security: protecting the public at large events. Americans are as likely to think more could be done to protect the public at large gatherings as to say the government has done all it could be expected to do there. In contrast, more Americans say the government has accomplished what could be expected when it comes to airport security.
