Most Americans — 60% — in the latest Economist/YouGov Poll have heard or read “a lot” about former Congressman Anthony Weiner’s (D-NY) resignation last week. That’s more than the 43% who have heard or read a lot about the fighting in Libya.
The thinking of the public about Weiner’s political future is overwhelmingly clear: two out of three say it’s unlikely he will be elected if he ever runs for office again. Nearly half say that prospect is very unlikely.
