Tea Party favorites Michele Bachmann and Rick Perry could have a hard time beating
incumbent President Barack Obama. They lead as the presidential choice of
Republicans who identify with the Tea Party, but trail the President by double digits
in the latest Economist/YouGov Poll.

Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney is the choice of non-Tea Party identified
Republicans, who make up more than half the party. Among all Republicans,
Romney, Minnesota Congresswoman Bachmann, and the as-yet-unannounced
Texas Governor Rick Perry are tightly bunched in the race for the nomination.

If you had to choose one, which of these individuals would you want to be the Republican nominee for president in 2012?

Although they are popular with Tea Partiers, Bachmann and Parry have a way to go
in the contest with Barack Obama. Obama leads both by double digits.
