There is still a negative view of Congress in the latest Economist/YouGov Poll. Only 14% approve of how the new Congress is handling its job; 63% disapprove.

23% of Republicans (among the highest figures in recent years) approve. But, perhaps reflecting divided control, so do 17% of Democrats. While more in both parties are still negative, it’s the independents that really dislike Congress these days. Only 5% of them approve of how Congress is handling its job. 76% disapprove.
