These are the topline results of a YouGov/Huffington Post survey of 1000 US adults interviewed September 18 - 19, 2013 on possibility of a government shut down. The results show that most Americans expect the President and Congress to cut a deal to avoid a shutdown but think that if it does happen the national economy will be hurt. The margin of error is 4%.
