84% of the US public has a positive opinion of the Shawshank Redemption star
Hollywood executives are always on the hunt for bankable stars who can consistently draw in the crowds. According to YouGov Ratings data, Americans are happy to see Morgan Freeman – the vast majority of Americans have a positive opinion of the star.
Other contemporary actors who do well with the American public are Denzel Washington, who 81% of Americans have a positive opinion about, Tom Hanks (81%), Betty White (80%), and Sandra Bullock (80%).
