New data shows that America is the only country among the three to consider Valentine's Day a beautiful tradition
Three new country-specific surveys from the United States, United Kingdom, and Germany suggest that Americans have the warmest feelings toward Valentine's Day.
A third of Americans said they either "love" or "like" the day devoted to romance, compared to 23% of Germans and 19% of Brits. On the other hand, a quarter of Brits said they either "hate" or "don't like" Valentine's Day, while the same is true for 20% of Germans and 17% of Americans.

Additional numbers show that the majority of Americans consider Valentine's Day a beautiful tradition, compared to a minority of Germans and Brits. Meanwhile, a majority of Germans feel pressure to do something romantic on Valentine's Day, compared to a minority of Americans and Brits. By 10 percentage points, UK residents are the most likely group to think Valentine's Day is too commercial.
